How Bonding Works

Bonding is an incredibly useful dental technology that can cover almost any natural flaw. First, a thin plastic material is applied to the tooth’s front surface. A bonding material is then applied and sculpted, colored and shaped for an aesthetically pleasing result. A high-intensity light hardens the plastic, and the new bonded surface is finely polished. Small imperfections can be corrected in one visit. Larger issues may take two visits.
